Song of Myself is composed by Walt Whitman. He was born in 1819 in America. He worked as a carpenter before his twelfth birthday. He also employed as a printer, teacher and editor. His important works include “Leaves of Grass”. In this poem the poet enjoy himself and sings for the self. He sees himself in others. He says that what he assumes should be assumed by all because every atom of blood is the same in all human beings.
